The first part of our account no. on our invoices is featuring four **** rather than the actual numbers. Why is it doing this? I can’t seem to change it

Adding your account numbers on invoices is essential for your business to easily allow your customer to deposit their payment, bnc. With this, I'll share with you why it displays the four digits in an asterisk (*) once sent to the customers.

 

QuickBooks keeps updating to enhance user safety while using the application and other feature improvements. These updates are not limited to details displayed on the sales form.

 

With that being said, the account number added on the Add payments details and footer section of your sales forms is filtered to protect data identified as personally identifiable information.

 

For now, we can utilize the Message to customer on box to enter your bank details. Please note that whatever details you add to that portion apply to all sales forms, except estimates. After that, click Done to save changes.

 

I can see the importance of making your account number visible in the designated area. Thus, I recommend sending feedback directly to our product development team to considering displaying the actual numbers and enabling customers to pay their statements. You can send your feedback by following the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion.
  4. Click Next to submit feedback.
