It's possible that the changes made to the customer's details using the mobile app didn't flow properly. Thus, it's why you're still seeing the old information when creating an invoice inside QuickBooks Online (QBO). In this situation, we recommend modifying your customer's information using a web browser to ensure everything works well. We'll gladly write down the steps to get you going:
- Access your QuickBooks Online company.
- Go to Sales, then select Customers .
- Select the customer you want to update.
- Click the Customer Details tab.
- Select Edit.
- Make any changes.
- Click Save.
For more information, please see this page: Add and manage customers in QuickBooks Online.
If the issue persists, it's possible that this has something to do with your browser's cache or mobile app's data. In this situation, you'll want to get rid of those temporary internet or mobile data so you can access QBO with a clean slate. If you wish to clear data from your browser, you'll want to access your company using an incognito or private Window. Use these shortcut keys:
- Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
- Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
- Safari: Command+Shift+N
Once you're in, try editing the customer's information and then create an invoice to see if new details shows. If it works and you're able to get through, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
