Hi there, david.
Currently, the ability to view VAT certificate in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable. You may consider pulling up the VAT Detail report instead as a workaround. This report lists transactions that are included in each box on the VAT return.
Here's how:
- In QBO, go to the Business overview and select Reports.
- In the search box, enter VAT Detail Report.
- Pick the report period and desired date range.
- Click Run report.
To learn more about the VAT Detail report, you can check out this article: VAT Detail Report.
We'd love to hear your input. I recommend leaving feedback to notify our engineers about the feature you need. This way, they can consider adding it in the future updates. Here's how to submit:
- In QBO, go to the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
- Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.
I'm also adding these articles that tackles filing your VAT return and recording your tax payment in QBO for future reference:
Please leave a comment below if you have more questions about this or anything else. I'm more than willing to assist. Keep safe.
