When filing MTD VAT returns, there are a couple of reasons for unsuccessful submission:
- Incorrect credentials (user ID or password, or both).
- Poor internet connection causing the submission to fail or time out.
- No information or data within the period you are trying to file.
- Trying to submit a VAT return for a future period before the beginning date of when you qualified for VAT.
- Trying to submit a VAT return before the end of your VAT period.
- Trying to submit a VAT return after the deadline for the period.
- Trying to submit a VAT for incorrect dates.
- Trying to submit a VAT return that has already been filed directly with HMRC.
If these reasons do not apply to you, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Support Team. This way, they can pull up your account securely and guide you in the filing.
Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu.
- Select the Contact Us button.
- Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
- Click Let's talk.
- Select Get a call or Get a callback.
- Enter your contact information.
- Select Confirm my call.
