Hi ben-robinson3, thanks for your post - has the period that the VAT adjustment relates to been successfully filed via MTD?

No. I'm just preparing out 1st return so making adjustments for goods in previous 4 years.

I created an income account specifically for this purpose but on 2 of the adjustments I forgot to select the correct income account so the adjustments don't show against return.

Scrub that. They are appearing on VAT return just not against the income account I'd set up. Would rather have it against correct account

Thanks ben-robinson3, if you're on the Flat Rate Scheme then the adjustment can't be deleted - instead, you would need to enter a reverse journal of the transaction (+ new > journal entry) to cancel this, or you can enter a journal dated on the same day as the adjustment from the income account that this has been posted to, to the correct account. If you need any guidance on entering the JE, we'd recommend reaching out to your bookkeeper or accountant for support. :)
