Vat First payment

Hi there, i hope someone can help.

I have submitted my first vat report 6 months ago and its a 1/4ly submission. so all adjustments i have made have now gone onto my 3rd 1/4s vat filling. But HMRC have already took of the the exemptions on their first payment (which has only just been sorted now) so how do i now alter my new vat filling before submitting as if they have took the adjustments off i will be paying this extra VAT for nothing?

Vat First payment

Hello there, @Matthew180.

I'll be glad to provide information about how you can alter your VAT filing before submitting it in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In this case, if you want to remove all adjustments before so that your new filing will be clean you can delete all your previous VAT adjustment filings.

Moreover, you can make VAT adjustments to correct all the exemptions, but it will still show in the system.

If you want to make a VAT adjustment, I suggest contacting our Support team or reaching out to your accountant for further guidance. Also, to ensure the accuracy of your books.
