Why are my transactions not automatically updating?

It is currently the 23rd May and my transactions are only showing up to 16th May, but saying it's up-to date. What's wrong? How do I show my most recent transactions?

I'm here to help check why your bank transactions aren't automatically updating.


QuickBooks Self-Employed is a read-only application. Whatever transactions downloaded from your bank will be updated in QuickBooks. As of now, you can start by doing a manual update.


  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts under Transactions.
  3. Click on Refresh all.
