Hi saul2!
You can tell if your bank is properly connected when your account shows up on the Banking page and you can see the Update button. Also, when you click the pencil icon, you will see the Edit sign-in info button.
To give a comparison, if you only upload transactions using a web connect file, you will see the account on the Banking page. However, you won't see the buttons I mentioned above. I made you screenshots for visuals.
On the other hand, the orange number you see isn't referring to the date. It refers to the number of transactions in the For Review tab. It you add them to your books or exclude them, the number will be replaced with All done! with a green check mark.
About adding screenshots to your post, you can click the Choose file button at the bottom of the text box. Or, you can click the Camera icon to add one. If you need want to add them to your original post, please refer to the screenshot below.
Please go back to this thread if you have other questions.
Thank you for your answer. I have two further questions:
1) the number of days is showing as Orange. This looks as if something hasn't updated itself. Is that correct?
2) where do I see which card number/account it's actually connected to? Once the card is connected, it seems impossible to see any details except the short name which was allocated to it upon setup. I therefore cannot tell which of the corporate cards has been connected.
Thanks
You're welcome, saul2!
For question 1: Are you referring to the orange number as shown in the screenshot below? If yes, this refers to the number of transactions for review. If not, please add a screenshot of it to your post, so I can check it on my end.
For question 2: The account number is truly a helpful indicator. You can edit the bank's name in the Chart of Accounts and add the last for digits of your account number. This will reflect on the Banking page like in my screenshot above (SAVINGS ACCOUNT 2948).
