Thanks for joining this thread. You can enable nominal coding by going to the Cogwheel > Account & settings > Advanced > Chart of Accounts > Turn on and tick 'show account numbers'. Following this, you'll see an extra field in the CoA where you can enter the numbers. :)

You can easily pull up the Account List report to see your nominal codes.
You can click the Gear icon in the report, and uncheck the columns that you don’t need.

I'm trying to understand if Quick Books has nominal codes that can be added. Is this something hat can be set up?

What I'm trying to get at is codes as in 10001 for Salaries, 20000 for marketing.
