I have a legitimate copy of pro 2015 which i have been using as a small business since 2015. i am happy with QB as it serves my purpose, however......my computer hard drive was corrupted and crashed. I bought a new computer running windows 11 but when i go to re-install, I get….. "register" i go through the motions fill in all the boxes and am told it did not finish. I am aware that there is no longer any support for desktop programs from QB but surely someone can help me get the validation number to register it again? I am appalled that it appears the only way I can fix this is to migrate to QB online, which I do not want to do. So a program that I legally bought and paid for as a one off. Is not! When I bought the program no one said β€œoh wait….we might discontinue it and therefore your license for life is in fact a license for X number of years. I expect I know the answer, surely there must be an answer to this deplorable situation?
