Thank you Rosie, this is really very helpful.  There are so many posts on here which slightly differ.

I found trying to match the imports listed to invoices was a nightmare as no references matched, got there in the end.

Are you Accrual or Cash Accounting?  We are Cash and considering changing to Accrual to perhaps make this a little easier.
