I understand the urgency of talking to our Live Support Team to pay and close your account. However, the only way to contact you via email is to start a chat.

 

Here's how to connect with us:

 

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Assistant icon to open the QB assistant window.
  3. Select Contact Support Team, then enter your concerns.
  4. Click Contact Support Team again.
  5. Choose Chat to start a conversation.

 

One of our representatives can create a case under your company and send emails from there. You may need to chat with them on weekdays.

 

The Community forum is the only 24-hour support team who can provide steps and articles to help fix your concerns. In your case, it requires pulling up an account and checking the status of your subscription.

 

To pay for your subscription, make sure to update your billing information. I'm adding these articles to guide in entering the details and also the steps on how to cancel an account.

We are e-commerce company with 3 branches presently (we hope to increase to 6 this year) and with products  close to 1500.
Kindly recommend a quickbooks compatible inventory software that can meet our need such as one click interbranch product transfer, account track goods in transit  etc.

How much budget do you have? Stock transfers between branches are mostly available in all inventory management applications with multi warehouse capabilities. But when you need to track stock in transit, you need a more sophisticated inventory management app. One app starts at $750/month to integrate with QBO.

Every business has unique needs. While I'm unable to recommend a specific inventory software, there are a variety of third-party apps in our App Center listings. We might be able to find the best one that fits your needs and workflow. 

 

In QuickBooks Online, simply click on the Apps tab, then search for an inventory software in the search box. 

 

QuickBooks Online has basic inventory tracking capabilities. If you want to learn more about it, I'll link this article: Set up and track your inventory in QuickBooks Online

Since Quickbooks don't have representation in South Africa anymore you have to phone the UK.  20 minutes on the phone and then got cut off without any assistance.

I need to reset a password or get the password deactivated to get into the company file.  It keeps saying it is incorrect but before hardware corruption in December 2022 the file opened with the same password.

Can's use file doctor as you need the password.  Why is this so difficult. There was not backup made since January 2022 so a complete year's worth of work is being lost because Quickbooks don't have an email address where you can mail a company file to for assistance.

You don't need a new product number, Mat. 

 

I'm here to help you fix the product license number issue.

 

Beforehand, did you encounter any error messages when entering your product number? This helps us determine the cause of this.

 

The license number and product code should match. If you bought the software from our website, look in the purchase confirmation email you received from us. If it's from a retail store, look for the brightly colored sticker on the original CD envelope.

 

If you get the error The validation code is incorrect or This service is temporarily unavailable, you'll want to perform the recommended solutions below to resolve this.

 

Solution 1: Check your date and time settings:
 

  1. Close your QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Right-click the time display on the Windows taskbar, then select Adjust Date/Time.
  3. Check if your date and time settings are correct. If they are, move on to the next solution. If not, continue with steps 4 to 8.
  4. Select the Date & Time tab, then set the date for the current year.
  5. Click Apply, then OK.
  6. Open your QuickBooks Desktop, then go to Help.
  7. Select Activate QuickBooks, then click Begin Activation.
  8. Enter the validation code, then select Next.

 

Solution 2: Create a new Windows admin:

 

  1. Add a Windows user with admin rights.
  2. After you create the new user, sign out of Windows and sign back in as the new user.
  3. Install and activate your QuickBooks Desktop.

If this fixes the error, you can keep the new admin user, or remove it and use your existing user.

 

In case none of these fixes the problem, I'd recommend performing a clean install. This resolves problems during installation or while running the software.

They just kick me out when they can't answer my question.  I've been dealing with same issue for years and it comes up every renewal, just got kicked out of chat by another agent who simply wanted to send me another que not at all interested in helping.  We've been with QB for decades .... seriously looking at a change due to poor customer service these days.

I agree, this is so annoying.  They send me a e-mail message saying my service is expiring in 7 days, however a month ago I paid 5K$ for my new year of service.  Why should I have to spend my valuable time on the phone when I have proven it is paid in an e-mail I sent but was returned they should spend their own time to look it up and respond.  I guess their time is more valuable than their customers.

I have had the worst experience with Quickbooks customer service chat team as well. I am trying to resolve several issues with quickbooks. The 4 issues I am reporting was met with an unhelpful customer service rep named Christian. On issue 2, he simply left the chat without helping me. 

 

WHERE IS A CUSTOMER SUPPORT EMAIL! I MUST CONTACT I.T. DEPARTMENT ASAP. 

 

My issues need to get resolved before taxes are due. I am a paying customer and demand better service than this.

I have tried multiple times on chat, where QuickBooks Customer Service members simply exited the chat when they were unable to solve my issues. I have spent time on the phone and even shared my screen, to no avail in fixing my issues. Since this is the only method I am getting competent responses on, I will share my issues, expecting the message to be relayed to an I.T. Department Representative immediately.


I have the following persisting issues:

•the amazon labs connection: correct log-in info has been submitted; error persists; no error code.

•I have an issue logging into one of my bank accounts with an issue code 105. My login credentials are correct and bank says there should be NO issues.

•I am getting an error message when trying to upload past transactions. No error code. Says try again later. No avail. I have not been able to upload.

•I have a personal loan via American Express and this is not appearing on my accounts. 

 

I have tried on multiple web browsers. All my login information is correct. This is a glitch on QuickBooks behalf. I am a paying customer and expect to see these issues corrected in a timely fashion. Thank you. 


Considering US taxes are due soon, I expect a speedy resolve.

Regarding the bank feeds, use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo) as a workaround.
