I took the first step provided, but when I remove "homepage" and replace it with "purgecompany" there is an error message that says "404 page not found". I was sure to not delete more than in the example provided. My account with this company that I want to purge has been active for less than 60 days.
Make sure your plan is Essentials or Plus to purge your account. Otherwise, you have to purchase a new one.

Hello there. I can help you reset your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, Ermo.
Based on your subscription level and the age of your bookkeeping records, you can begin anew with your QBO program. For books that have been in use for 60 days or more, cancel your current company and start afresh. If your books are less than 60 days old, purging your company will clear your records without affecting your subscription. You'll then need to manually input any pertinent employee or historical data you wish to retain.
To retain existing data, it's necessary to manually export all transactions, name lists, and reports from your company and save them in a designated desktop folder so you'll have a secure backup of your data for any future use and can easily import it back into the system.
You can also import a custom accounts spreadsheet or your current accounts from another QBO, create and add accou..., and manually upload bank transactions.

Hello there, @shhc. Once banks and third-party apps are connected, purging your company can permanently damage these connections.
