Innovations to power growth for your firm and clients

Today, Intuit is introducing the next era of Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS), the evolution of QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA). IAS provides a unified platform for accounting professionals, developed in close partnership with accountant and bookkeeping communities to focus on what matters most to them.

Introduced for firms to trial in February 2026, IAS brings together your firm, your team, and your clients into one connected system—and now with Intuit Intelligence included, you have AI capabilities embedded across every experience, meaning your firm can operate more efficiently, scale your services, and unlock deeper insights for your practice and your clients.

IAS is available in two versions—Core and Accelerate. IAS Core expands on the functionality you use today in QBOA and is free for your firm. IAS Accelerate^ (beta) includes additional functionality like client insights, user groups, cross-client comparisons. IAS Accelerate is available to try for free—along with the new Books Close^ (beta) add-on—until 31 July 2026.

Let’s explore what’s available or coming soon in IAS in more detail.

Intuit Intelligence for your firm

Intuit Intelligence, Intuit’s AI capability, brings together your firm and client data with AI to power productivity and unlock insights across workflows. It monitors performance to surface insights, flags potential risks, makes personalised recommendations for your clients, and can take action with your guidance. Here’s some of what you can do with Intuit Intelligence.

  • Get instant answers from AI-powered chat: Use Intuit Intelligence chat^ (beta) to get instant, real-time insights based on firm and client data without digging through data.+
  • Clean books without heavy lifting: Let Intuit AI agents+ handle the bulk of categorisation, flagging things that need your review. When you need more info from clients, send questions and view answers right in the transaction feed for transparent client collaboration.
  • Compare data across your client portfolio (Coming soon to Accelerate)+: Compare financial data across your entire client portfolio. Ask Intuit Intelligence chat sophisticated questions and get immediate, real-time insights to help uncover meaningful information without extensive effort.
  • Generate reports in seconds (Coming soon to Accelerate)+: Use Intuit Intelligence chat to generate specific reports like top expenses or sales trends, so you can spend less time pulling financial data and more energy on planning and advising.
Customers say they save 13 hours each month on average when using a set of connected QuickBooks tools, backed by Intuit Intelligence.1

Intuit Intelligence will also be available in QuickBooks for your clients to use. Learn what’s coming to QuickBooks.

Efficiency redefined: Operational organisation at scale

Achieving consistent, high-quality service delivery requires strong operational foundations. IAS offers your firm the ability to standardise service delivery, boost efficiency, and assign custom permissions across your practice.

  • A custom dashboard for every team member: Available in IAS Accelerate, the customisable Home dashboard surfaces daily tasks, reminders, and insights for every team member each day to help them focus on their most important work.
  • Organise teams and clients, your way: Assign teams and clients in bulk through custom role-based access groups that align to your firm’s structure. With all-in-one firm-wide groupings, you can easily view team and client groups.
