Explore the New Intuit QuickBooks Platform

A redesigned platform to streamline your workflow and better support your clients

As a trusted advisor to your small business clients, we know how much time and effort managing multiple accounts and tasks can take. That’s why the new Intuit QuickBooks platform has been redesigned—to help you work smarter, faster, and with greater ease.

This updated platform brings smarter navigation, enhanced tools, and everything you need in one place. With its intuitive design, you’ll have improved functionality and greater visibility to support your clients’ businesses with confidence and accuracy. Plus, the new platform sets the stage for the upcoming Intuit AI Agents+, offering powerful features to streamline workflows even further.

We understand change takes some adjusting, and we're here to help. The new Intuit QuickBooks platform is available in Early Access, so you have time to explore the updates, learn the new features, and prepare for what’s next. While you're getting comfortable, you can switch back to the previous version anytime, however the redesigned platform will soon become the default.

Redesigned Navigation: Apps, Add-ons, and Integrations

Gone are the days of switching between disconnected workflows. The redesigned QuickBooks platform is built to save time by organising everything efficiently and simplifying navigation.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Apps Carousel: Features like Sales and Expenses are now called Apps, grouped into a carousel at the top of your dashboard. Everything is in one place and just a click away.
  • My Apps Menu: Use the My Apps menu in the left-hand navigation to easily locate Apps. Features like Bank Transactions are now grouped neatly into their respective Apps for quick access.
  • Add-ons: Add-ons like Marketing*, marked with a gem icon , are displayed in the My Apps menu.
  • Integrations: Third-party tools, now called Integrations*, are accessible via the plug icon in the top navigation.

Even though the names and placements of some features may have changed, don’t worry—everything you and your clients rely on is still here, just easier to find and use.

Apps to Boost Productivity

The redesigned platform consolidates features into Apps, making workflows smooth and efficient. Here’s how these Apps work for you and your clients:

  • Accounting: Manage bank transactions, reconcile accounts, and access the chart of accounts—all in one app.
  • Expenses & Bills: Effortlessly track expenses, manage suppliers, and handle bill payments.
  • Sales & Get Paid: Keep up with invoices, orders, and transactions in a clear, organised view.
  • Customer Hub: Enable clients to stay on top of customer details, leads, and quotes in a central hub.
  • Team: Let clients manage team member details, costs, and billing rates with ease.
  • Projects: Help clients track project income, costs, and profit margins to manage budgets better.
  • Inventory: Easily track products, services, sales orders, and purchase orders with the new Inventory App.
  • Tax: Simplify tax tracking and preparation all from one place.
  • Marketing*: Connect the Mailchimp add-on to help your clients strengthen customer relationships and grow their businesses.
  • Reports: Run P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports with ease, all from one place.
  • My Menu: Advisor tools are now located in My Menu in the left hand navigation, where you can customise sections, bookmarks, and tools for faster access.

The redesigned QuickBooks gives you flexibility to design workflows and dashboards to fit you and your practice’s needs. The platform can be customised to focus on what matters most to your advisory services.

  • Create Button: Previously +New, the Create button allows quick access to tasks like creating invoices or recording expenses. Up to ten tasks can also be added to your dashboard for easy access.
  • Bookmarks: Keep shortcuts to regularly used tools—your existing bookmarks stay intact when switching.
  • My Apps Menu: Pin your three most-used Apps (like Sales or Expenses) for immediate access.
  • Smart Search: Locate transactions, reports, and customer records with advanced search filters in seconds.
  • Widgets: Personalise your dashboard—resize, arrange, and display the widgets that matter most to you.
