Hi there. The Taxes module in QuickBooks Online may stop working due to an uncleared browser cache. Additionally, if your settings are set to No VAT, you will be prevented from adding a specific VAT rate to your transactions.

If the VAT tab won't load, please try the following:

- Sign out and sign back in to your QBO account.
If the issue persists, try accessing your account via a private or incognito window. This mode prevents your browser from storing cache and cookies, which often resolves temporary glitches. Alternatively, you may want to use a different compatible browser to ensure optimal performance.
If you are referring to the VAT field inside a Bill or Expense, ensure the transaction is not set to No VAT. If it is, you won't be able to select a specific rate to associate with that transaction.
