Creating and Managing many companies

We are a small group with in-house accounting department.

The holding is UK based, we have a subsidiary in UK, 2 in France, 1 in Portugal, and 1 in Brazil.

We need to move to cloud based accounting system which can manage many companies, currencies and offer some budgeting tools.

In this context, could you please help me regarding QuickBooks ? Is it possible ? It does not seem that 1 can create more than 1 company linked to 1 account with the QBO Plus package (27£ per month) ?

Could I go for the QuickBooks Online Accountant package even if we are in-house ?

Thanks

You can create multiple subscriptions with one log-in in the US. It must be the same in the UK. But each subscription is a separate cost.

With QBOA there may be promotional pricing for multiple files

Each file (client) in the QBOA account would have to use the UK version.

Either way, there is no intercompany or consolidation accounting, so that would have to be done manually.

Another option to consider is using the Class feature (QBO Plus) to separate the companies in one subscription, if that is allowed by the tax authority and legally (in the US it depends on the legal entity type)
