Thanks for bringing this to our attention, anli-li.
It looks like we can't access your bank from the current browser. Let's try using a different browser to connect your HSBC account with QuickBooks.
Please check to see the list of browsers supported by QuickBooks Online below:
Let me know if you have additional questions. Stay safe and have a great day ahead!
I initially did it in the latest version of firefox. And then I tried Chrome and Safari. Same problem. It just can't show the second account in the screen. please can you help? it's HSBC bank.
I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've tried, anli-li.
I'm here to share some information about connecting HSBC bank in QuickBooks Online. We're updating our bank feeds to comply with the new Open Banking guidelines. With that being said, we're removing the standard connection to all banks as of March. For banks that have available open connections, a prompt will appear within Quickbooks to upgrade the existing feed to the new open connection. You can check out Open Banking for more information.
In the meantime, you can import your bank transactions into QBO. I've listed our supported file formats below:
I'm also including these links about Open Banking

Sorry, you missed my points.
HSBC does support open bank. And I am a new customer. It's my first time to add HSBC.
When I connect HSBC to my account, in the browser it only showed the one account. I have a current account and also a saving account. I can only choose the current to add but not the saving account.
I want to connect both accounts to QBO. At this moment, it's only the current account connected to the system.
Thank you
Hi anli-li,
I'd like to join the conversation and share more details about connecting bank and credit card accounts.
Banks provide a connection per account type, and this connection is represented by the names you see when you search for HSBC. Some banks do not provide connections for all the account types they offer. This could be why you can't see your savings account.
I tried searching for HSBC UK, I can see that there are available connections for Current, Personal, HSBC Net, and Other account types. I can't find a name for savings, but you can try the Other Accounts. If you still can't see your savings account, you can consider uploading transactions regularly (twice or once a week).
Your next step will be categorising, matching, or adding transactions to your bank register.
If you have more questions about online banking, please don't hesitate to reply to this thread.
Further to this string, I previously had good links for both HSBC and NAtionwide savings accounts. Since the upgrade in march, it is not picking up the savings accounts. This is really boring as it worked well before.
Hello Liz B :waving_hand:, Welcome to the Community, Are you using the online for a small business subscription? If so have you tried disconnecting and re-connecting as the connecting that you have may have expired? Before disconnecting ensure that transactions in for reviewed have been reviewed, If you've not disconnected try it and let us know how you get on. Thanks ☺️
