Thanks for choosing QuickBooks, ben156. I'd be glad to help you with importing your transactions into your new QuickBooks Online QBO) company.
Let's deal with your invoices first. You mentioned you've already exported data from your old QuickBooks account. I'd like to confirm if you've saved it in a CSV format. Then, you'll need to prepare the data for import. You can follow the template available in your QBO account.
Here's where to find it:
- Go to the gear icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Under Tools, select Import data.
- Choose the Invoices option.
- Click Download an example under Upload your CSV file.

Once you've prepared the file in the correct format, upload the file on the same page where you downloaded the template using the Browse button. Then, click Next. Then, map the corresponding fields to your column headers.
Now, let's take care of your expenses. The option to import expenses into QBO is currently unavailable. To address this matter, I'd recommend considering using a third-party application that could help with the task.
Here's where you can find available supported apps in QuickBooks:
- On the left navigation panel, go to Apps.
- Navigate to the Find apps tab.

- Search for an app.
- Click Get app now.
Just ensure to grant the app the permissions it needs and configure it to your liking.
