Subscription through Quickbooks



I cancelled my subscription through apple so I could subscribe through quick books but I don't think it will let me subscribe until 2nd of November. 


I need to add my accountant to my quickbooks account immediately so I can file my tax return and apply for a mortgage. 


My accountant has asked if you can change the master admin to them? Is this possible and how do I do it?

You need to have an active subscription with us to add users or other data in QuickBooks. The system will post alerts when making changes to canceled or suspended accounts.


As an option, you can update your service using a different payment method. To resubscribe QuickBooks Self-Employed on the web:


  1. Sign in to your QBSE account, and select the Gear icon at the top right.
  2. Tap the Billing Info option. Select View options if you want to select a different type of subscription—with TurboTax or without.
  3. Confirm the billing information and CVV number.
  4. Select Subscribe to confirm.

However, if you don't want this option, I would recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Team directly. They can view your account and help change the Master Admin on your account. Click the link below to contact us: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

Those options are not available in my billing menu.


When I hit the help button there is no option to contact us. 


Please give me a contact for quick books who can change my account admin immediately as I need this information to complete a mortgage application for a house we have bought.

I've checked your original question and it looks like you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed, MF87. 


The Account and Settings option is only available in QuickBooks Online. Instead, select Billing Info for QBSE. It's where you can update your billing info and reactivate your account. 


Also, QBSE is only supported by our Chat and Email Support Team at the moment. Let me give you the steps on how to reach out to them: 


  1. Click the Assistant button just beside the Help menu.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", and press Enter
  3. Select Chat with an agent or Get email support.
