Hi Guys,
For some reason I am unable to login to QB Self employed.
I click login and nothing happens.
I have cleared browser data but still noting, no errors.
I have tried on both Chrome and Microsoft Edge both with the same results.
I can login to the android app okay, not sure if others are having the same issue?

Hi there, all resolved.
It turned out to be a pending Microsoft Windows update.
I manually checked for updates (in windows update) and installed all available updates. There was a .net update that needed to finish.
I also use Chrome and checked for updated there too. Three dots>Help>About Chrome
Once done Login started working and is still working to this day.
Hope this helps?
Even stranger, I can now login but under reports invoices for last tax year is £0 (Incorrect) and invoices for this tax year is only showing 2022's invoices not the tax years?
Sounds like QB is having issues
Hi wiggy1977, thanks for your post - I'm pleased to hear you've been able to access your account. To check for any potential cache issue impacting the reports, please access QuickBooks through an incognito/private browsing window or a seperate web browser. If the figures do not display correctly there, please get back to us below so we can investigate further.
Thanks for your help.
Yesterday I managed to get logged in and everything worked. As I cleared the browser info the tick box next to invoices was unchecked resulting in not showing me the info I was expecting.
Today i'm back to not being able to login.
I've tried using incognito mode on chrome and am stuck in the login screen. When I click sign in nothing happens! Very frustrating.
I did a browser update in Friday so I am assuming this is causing the problems as its's been fine up until then.
Hello Wiggy, We're sorry to see you're having problems today with the login. Could you advise the URL you are signing in via so we can test it? We currently have no other reports of sign-in issues with QBSE so in order to escalate this further we just need to check is that happening on Chrome and Edge as you mentioned in your last post. Thanks
Thanks, Wiggy, okay we're not getting any latency or issues with that URL can you check if you have pop-up blockers on in the browser since you updated it and if so try temporarily taking them off and see if that then lets you log in?Thanks
Just checked no pop ups activated. No pop up being blocked notifications either .
Using chrome Version 97.0.4692.71 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I can login to the intuit main account page, going through the two step verification just not the actual self employed dashboard where I manage my accounts.
Very strange, it's as if the code that controls the login button is not running.
I have since uninstalled and reinstalled chrome with no success.
I still cannot login via chrome or microsoft browser.
It's been working great for months but now I cant even login!
Thanks for checking those settings wiggy1977, do you have javascript enabled on your Chrome browser? Can we also check if you're able to access through a browser app (such as Chrome) on your mobile device?
Yep its working on chrome from my phone? strange
Thanks, Wiggy. The browser update you did, was that on Chrome only, or was it a PC update as well, are there any outside windows/mac updates, and do you have anti-virus software installed, and if so has that updated recently, and does Quickbooks/Intuit show as an accepted/safe site?
I did a manual chrome update only. (Version above)
Windows 11 is on auto update.
Virus protection is the inbuilt Windows Security. I reset the firewall to default which has not helped.
If I click forgot password, I get to the make sure you're not a robot screen but the its blank. Like its not loaded that part of the page>

Was this resolved? I am now having exactly the same problem
Hi srmcl, we don't have any reported login issues; are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11? Please also check that any ad blockers are disabled on the web browser as these can interfere with the login :)

I ran into this same issue. I tried in incognito and nothing. Eventually I was able to get in by going logging into intuit.com first and then from there clicking on quickbooks self-employed. Hope this helps!
I'm having the same issue now and have had for a week. What gives??

I have the same problem and have done for a couple of months now. Every now and again, randomly, I can get in, but it's been extremely inconvenient trying to get invoices out and keep my accounts up to date. I'm considering moving to a different company. I don't have the spare time each month to be messing around trying to fix this. It's disheartening to see that so many other people are having the same problem and that there doesn't seem to be a simple way to get around the issue.
If I were in the same situation, I'd feel the same way,

If you haven't already, you can try logging in to your account via an incognito or private browser. Private mode prevents storing cache that can cause problems when running websites. Thus, a perfect place to fix unexpected QuickBooks behavior. Here are some of the keyboard shortcuts:
If you're able to do so, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Close and reopen it after doing so.
If the issue continues, I suggest contacting our Technical Support. They have the tools to further look into the account and create a case to be submitted to our engineers for further investigation.
