With the accountants account can the client also access the simple start package?

I work for an Accountancy firm which use QuickBooks but I'm assuming due to the size of the firm all clients have the highest package. I have some private clients and I'm looking to get them onto QuickBooks. Two are small non VAT registered so simple start package would suit them but I'd like to know if they can have access to QuickBooks as well as myself with that package. Thanks.

Hello, emevans-live-co-.

If your client hasn't set up a QuickBooks Online (QBO) account yet. He will need to access this web page and have your client click the link Create an account. Look for it below the Sign-in button.

Once already finished creating a QBO account, confirm the email address used. By this time you can send your client an invitation. They'll be able to log in to their QBO company now.

On a different note, here's an article that walks you through how to connect all your clients' accounts in one place: Connect accounts as a Master Administrator

Also, with regards the QuickBooks Online Comparison which Version Is the best for you, I suggest check out this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/products/.

Hello there, emevans-live-co-.

Yes, they can. They'll only have to invite you as the accountant. This way, you can both access the account.

Here's how they can invite an accountant in QuickBooks Online:

  1. Let them sign in to their QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to the Settings and select Manage users.
  3. Select the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Select Invite.
  5. Enter your accountant's info and select Save.

You can refer to this article for more information: Invite an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other questions about managing your account, please let me know. I'll be right here to keep helping.

Sorry not trying to cause confusion but just checking.  If I set them up on QuickBooks as their bookkeeper/Accountant (as in they haven't already got it set up), could I invite them on the simple start package?  Will they be able to take a photo of an invoice and upload it?  Sorry for all the questions, I'm very familiar with QuickBooks but not with setting up clients and want to make sure I choose the best package for them.
