can i unlink my bank account from quick books

You certainly can, @Eric R.

I'd be delighted to walk you through the steps of unlinking your bank account from QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before we begin, you'll want to ensure you've categorised your transactions in the For review tab. Unlinking your bank account deletes all transactions that need to be categorised in the For review tab.

Once ready, you can follow along with these steps on how to unlink or disconnect your bank in QBO:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Click the Banking tab and select the tile for your bank account.
  3. Select the pencil icon, then click Edit account info.
  4. Click the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Select Save and Close.

You can also see this article for the complete details: Disconnect accounts connected to online banking in QuickBooks Online.

In case you need to reconnect your account in QBO, please refer to this resource for guidance: Connect your bank feeds using Open Banking.

I'll be around if you need more help managing your bank and accounts in QBO. Keep safe and have a dazzling day ahead!
