I'll hear you out, TacoIssy.
To fix this, please ensure you’re using the correct bank URL when connecting your business accounts in QuickBooks. You can find this URL by logging into your Virgin Business Bank account and copying the link from your browser. After copying the URL, paste it into the bank’s search box in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If the issue persists, we can take some troubleshooting measures to help fix the issue, Stephen. This could be an issue related to your browser.
To begin, let's access your account through your browser's incognito mode. An incognito window will prevent the browser history from being saved. Please refer to the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:
Alternatively, you can clear the browser's cache to eliminate common errors that may hinder the application from working properly. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with a clean slate. You can also use other supported browsers to see if the issue persists.
After that, try to connect your bank again.

When we try to connect our Virgin Business Savings Account we select Virgin Money but then there is a message that says, "Only sign in here if your account sort code start with 05 or 82" but our sort code starts with 08." Does that mean that this type of account cannot be linked to Quickbooks?
Thanks
Hi there, @Wendy116.
It's possible that the type of account you're trying to connect isn't supported in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
When you attempt to connect, your bank may sometimes display different names, as some banks are listed under multiple names. Additionally, not all banks connect to every type of account; for example, personal accounts versus business accounts.
To connect your online banking to the application, let's ensure we've selected the correct bank by entering your bank's URL into the search section. For instance, search for 'hsbc.com' for HSBC.
However, if you've already checked the spelling and tried searching with your bank's URL, but still can't see the option to connect your preferred account, you can request support for that specific account within the program. For more information, refer to Step 3: Request support for your bank in this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking in QuickBooks.
Currently, you can consider manually uploading your bank transactions using a CSV file in QuickBooks. First, download your transactions by logging in to your bank's website. Then, follow the instructions for downloading transactions and save the file on your desktop or somewhere easy to locate. Once you've done that, upload them to your books by following these steps:
