Hi there, lisayore-yahoo-c.
I know how important for your business to have your account connected to the bank feeds. This lets you automatically fetch the latest transactions and categorize them easily in your company.
We’ll have to perform a manual update to refresh the connection between QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) and your Financial Institution. I’ll help make sure you can do this with just a few clicks.
Before we proceed, may I know the name of your bank? Also, did you encounter any errors? Any details you can share will help determine if we have a reported issue.
In the meantime, let’s log in to your company and perform the troubleshooting steps from there. Here’s how:
Once done, you can start downloading the entries. For additional reference, the following write-up provides detailed information about classifying transactions from your bank or manually entered into the program: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Also, this link contains resources on how to handle your banking information and reconciling accounts: QBSE self-help articles. Make sure to select the topic to see the complete details.
Keep in touch if you still have questions about managing your bank feeds and downloaded data. I’m more than happy to answer them for you. Have a good one.
Hi there, @lisayore-yahoo-c. I've come to provide a few steps to help you connect your Barclays account to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
To help you get rid of the error OBA28, you'll have to utilize the PINsentry token. The Barclays bank requires this when upgrading your bank feed to open banking or connecting a new account. However, if the issue persists I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team. They use specific tools to look into your account and determine what caused the issue. Let me guide you how:
You can also use the Assistant menu to reach out to them. For the detailed steps, check out this article: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.
You may also want to manually upload your bank transactions to QBSE. To do this, you simply need to download the transactions from your bank's website in a CSV file format.
Once everything is fine, you'll have to categorise your bank transactions to ensure they are assigned to the correct account.
I'm here to back you up again if you have more questions about connecting your Barclays bank to QBSE. Just leave a comment below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
