Quickbooks Self-Employed on IPad connectivity issue with Lloyds

My QB Self-Employed app on Ipad is telling me I need to reconnect to my Lloyds account, OK I've done this before, however on the Bank Details page neither the Update now or Reconnect tabs respond at all. When I press the Reconnect tab I get a "We're having trouble connecting" message. This means that I cannot connect in order to update my accounts. What is going on and how do I resolve?

The app is terrible if you ask me. Just use Safari or Firefox on the iPad, at least you get access to all the features, especially if you're using payroll.

Hello Adethegardener,

Welcome to the Community page,

Can you please do the bank connection in the web browser version rather than in the app version please on a laptop or pc instead.

As I said, the app is trash, use the browser as it's just works better.

Now fixed, although I do agree that the app is not great.

Hi Adethegardener, do you receive the same error when updating on the web? For troubleshooting purposes, we'd recommend using an incognito/private browsing window (press Ctrl + Shift + n to open in Chrome or MS Edge) as banks require a secure connection.

Although the web site is terribly optimised for use in Safari on an iPad is you push the left hand menu using the three bars (hamburger button or whatever it’s called) When you switch to a desktop or laptop, if you use them, it’s helps with navigating about as the lay is the same obviously, Probably the app works better on a phone but I don’t use my phone to run either of my business accounts through, maybe I’m a bit too grown up for that lol
