There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses. To isolate this, try logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito).
Here's how:
Once signed in, try to upgrade to open banking again to double-check. Check out these articles for more information:
If it works, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Thanks very much for the reply. I have tired all of the options that you gave. None of which worked. When trying to connect to hsbc the page always times out and is blank. Please see screen shot. I've spoken to HSBC and they say that I still need to go to their online banking feeds menu and input a URN from quickbooks. Where on earth I get this I am not sure. Do you have any further advice?
Hello Highlife rope access,
So in regards to the message partnerauth.platform.intuit.com when trying to connect your bank is an issue with apple, could you try theses workarounds you might have to try more than one but this should once done allow you to connect the bank.
The workarounds are:
Do an NVRAM reset (speak to apple support about that)
Reset the router
Use a different network
Use a non apple device
Let us know how you get on.
