Hi DeepakT1, Capital on Tap is not currently available on Open Banking in QuickBooks. To request support, please navigate to banking > link account > enter bank name > select option 'still can't find your bank? click here' - in the meantime, you can manually upload a CSV file to continue speed up data entry.

Hi there, @userinam.

 

I'm here to help you connect your bank account with QuickBooks Online.

 

You can go directly to the Capital On Tap bank website and copy the website link. Once done, paste it in the search box on the QuickBooks Online Banking page, I'd be happy to guide you through it.

 

  1. On your QuickBooks Online Banking page, click Connect account.
  2. Paste the URL in the search bar and press Enter.
  3. Locate the back and click it. If you're not able to see the bank, you can request a connection by clicking Still can't find your bank.
  4. Enter the name of the Bank "Capital On Tap" and paste the URL in the Bank web address.
  5. Select the Request button. I've included some screenshots to see how it looks like:

 

After sending a request, QuickBooks will work with your bank to enable the integration. While waiting, you can manually bring your bank transactions to QuickBooks Online. I've added an article to know more about the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Hi chris272, in QuickBooks Online the Link Account button can be found to the right side of the Banking page when viewing on a web browser.

Hi GeorgiaC, thanks so much for your helpful reply. I was clicking on the drop down menu rather than the link account button itself, a little confusing for a non techie like me, lol.

Still unable to connct to Capital on Tap credit card, even though Capital on Tap provides a link on their page ????

Hi chris272, the connection may have been supported previously through our standard feed connection however is not currently available through Open Banking in QuickBooks, please refer here for our full list of currently supported banks. 🙇‍:female_sign:

Hi there, it appears that the only way to do this is to use the mobile app.  I have tried to login to capital on tap in browser but there does not seem to be a way to even see, let alone export transactions.  It's a shame that this is the case as it would be so helpful to have live data between the 2 services.  You have to go into the app, then transactions, then statements, then select the statement, then open my statement, then tap the share button and save.

 

It's a faff and not a great solution!
