Hi michael-hearn,
Thanks for dropping by on the Community:waving_hand:
Connecting the bank should automatically pull through available transactions into the 'For-Review' tab of the banking screen.
Are you able to sign-into your account through an incognito/private browsing window to see if this prompts an update?
If that does not work if you can click on the word update and see if that pulls the transactions through
If you still don't see any transactions, please get back to us below with the name of the financial institution and the account type you hold.
Thanks again!

I have tried using incognito browsing but it is still the same.
On the dashboard for profit/loss, expenses, sales, everything is 0 except for my current balance.
On the dashboard it shows Bank Accounts with my current balance and when I click on 'Connect accounts' and select HSBC and enter my login and security details it then tells me I have already connected my bank account but when I click on my expenses tab it then shows a link to a video and a list of 1,2,3 and two buttons for 'Connect bank' and 'Add expense manually'. I then click on Connect bank and go through the same thing and it tells me I already have a connected bank account.
Does it not show your bank transactions based on what type of Quickbooks subscription level you are on?
I think my issue is resolved now. I clicked on update on the dashboard and then I connected to HSBC but this time it came up with a green tick to say it has been updated and now I have transactions appear for the last 3 months.
Instead of manually having to import my transactions by uploading a csv file for data that is older then 3 months is it possible to sync automatically?
I'm glad your back in business, @michael-hearn.
Let me share some insights about uploading your transactions to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. QBO automatically downloads the last 90 days of the transactions once you connect your credit card or bank account.
If you want to upload transactions older than 90 days or 3 months, you'll need to manually upload those in your QBO account. Let me guide you how.
Here's an article you can read for more details about this process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Once done, you can now categorize those transactions and reconcile your accounts.
Tag me in if there's anything else I can help you with. I'm always here ready to back you up. Keep safe and take care!
