Hello Edsmike13,
Welcome to the Community page,
We have had no reports of any customer having issues with recounting the sub-accounts and credit cards with HSBC.
Can we ask what is happening when you try to reconnect? Do you get any error messages or error codes?
I am also having this problem. I have reconnected the main bank accounts with HSBC but it will not let me reconnect the credit cards.
Thanks for joining this topic, @LGray1,
I'd like to make sure we recommend you the most accurate resolution to your concern. Can you tell me if you encounter any error messages or alerts while trying to connect HSBC?
This will help me check for similar issues being worked on by our engineers. Feel free to add any additional information below.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I'm not getting any error codes.
If I reconnect with the banking link, it links the account for that one time. Any further "Updates" of the account just shows an exclamation mark in a yellow circle and will not update any transactions or balance from the bank.
There are two accounts that this happens on, a savings account and a credit card account, both are sub-accounts of my main account which is working ok!
I hope that helps explain the problem!.
Mike
I appreciate the details that you gave, @edsmike13.
Allow me to provide some insights about reconnecting your HSBC sub-accounts in QuickBooks Online.
At this time, Open Banking only allows you to connect the parent accounts. That said, the sub-accounts can't be reconnected.
To get your work done, you can import your bank transactions manually using CSV file uploads. This way, you'll need to download the entries from your bank's website and upload it to the system.
Here's a link that can guide you in uploading the entries: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Please know that our system is updating the bank feeds to comply with new Open Banking regulations.
You can check out these articles below to learn more about this process, and see what are those financial institutions that currently supports this feature:
