Hi, @mattjonesbuildin.
I know that the bank feeds feature is critical to efficiently managing transactions. I want to make sure you're able to benefit from this feature.
Can you share with us the steps you've performed and the error message you're getting when linking your Starling account to QuickBooks? Some banks have multiple names on our list. You can try logging in to all bank's extensions if there are multiple results when you search it.
Here's how:
You can also refer to this article for additional information: Find Your Bank or Credit Card Account.
If you're still getting the same error, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:
After you've done that, connect your Sterling account again to see if it's now working. If it does, I recommend clearing your browser's cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You may also use a different supported browser.
Otherwise, I suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Support team. This way, they can take note of your case and raise a ticket for further investigation if needed.
In the meantime, you can download an updated list of your transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QuickBooks using a CSV file. After you import your transactions in QuickBooks, you can review them in the For Review tab.
Please keep me updated on your progress with getting your account connected to QBO. I want to make sure this is resolved for you. Have a good day, @mattjonesbuildin.
I am having exactly the same problem with re-authorising & linking my Starling Account to my QuickBooks. I have also tried unlinking & relinking but they are still not talking to each other! Please urgently advise… Thanks Mandy
Hi there, Freds Friends.
Let's fix this so you can connect Startling to QuickBooks. You can start by making sure you're initiating the connection using a supported browser.
You can try to connect Starling using these browsers below.
Also, if it's a new connection, you'll want to validate the credentials first on Starling's website. Then, make sure to authorise QuickBooks to connect with your bank. You can contact your bank for assistance on how to authorise QuickBooks.
If it's an old connection, the bank connection will expire after 90 days. You'll have to re-authorise the connection on the Banking page in QuickBooks.
If you get an error while connecting to your bank, I suggest viewing this article: Open Banking connection errors. It's a list of error codes you may encounter when using the open banking connection, along with the troubleshooting steps to resolve them.
If you're unable to connect with your bank, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Live Team. They can create a case under your company and send it to our Engineering Team for further investigation.
Get back to me if you have additional questions about connecting Starling to QuickBooks. I'm always around to answer your questions.
