When going into my bank transactions, I am asked to reconnect on a couple of the accounts. However, once I reconnect, the message is still there. Do anyone know why?

Thanks for your post - does the account update successfully with the correct balance and transactions after re-connecting?

When going into my bank transactions, I am asked to reconnect on a couple of the accounts. However, once I reconnect, the message is still there. Do anyone know why?

It seems to still be putting transactions into the review column. I have tried manually updating too but the reconnection message is still there. It's only appearing on 2 out of 5 of the accounts.

Which bank are you with and what account types are the 2 that keep asking you to do the reconnection on?

They are a savings account and a credit card control account with HSBC.

Currently, we have an open investigation about the message or banner that creates new connections instead of reauthorizing already connected HSBC bank accounts. Please know our software engineers are already working to identify the cause and rectify the issue. Additionally, we recommend disregarding the banner and remove the duplicated connection in the Banking page to avoid generating identical transactions,

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) icon at the top right.
  3. Enter "Talk to a human" again in the search bar, then select Live chat.
  4. Click Live chat again.
  5. Enter "Reauthenticate banner creates new connections instead of reauthorizing already connected account." in the description box, then click Let's talk.
  6. Select Start a chat.
