Yes, you can download transactions manually to fetch new data. To accomplish this task, the Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online guide will walk you through the process.
Also, let’s perform some troubleshooting steps to move past the error. First, log in to your Barclays account and then navigate to the transactions page.
From there, make sure there are no messages or prompts that need attention. If there’s none, log out of the account.
Next, open the company file using the InPrivate or incognito mode. This is to determine if this is a cache related issue.
Here are the shortcut keys for each browser:
Once the private window opens, go to your Barclays account and update it. If the issue persists, perform the recommended steps in the Troubleshoot issues with Bank Feeds guide. Then, proceed directly to the Check if the account is already connected to QuickBooks section to continue.

So I reconnected last week using the incognito method and was told when I logged in today that my connection had expired.
Did the same thing again and managed to get the connection to work fine, in the incognito window. Then went back to my usual browser and its now saying that there is a problem and I need to disconnect my account and start over. Literally five minutes after having successfully connected.
Is this some kind of issue with caching?
Really don't need this every time I want to update my bank transactions.
