Thanks sorted now. Found the income account for this product and service was set as my current account, not Rental income. That's corrected it now, thanks for your help
Hello Tim181, is the same thing showing in both the app and the web version?
Hi, I can’t get a report in the app other than an overall P&l which I can’t drill down to see if it’s in there. Unless I’m doing something wrong?
Thank you for your prompt reply, tim181. Yes, the QuickBooks mobile app may have limited reports and displays minimal information when drilling them down. Let me help you generate your report with rental income details for your customer.
The report's period and accounting basis significantly impact and cause missing accounts/transactions.
At this time, I recommend opening your report through any supported web browser on your computer or mobile device. Then, filter the dates correctly and switch the accounting basis from cash to accrual and vice versa.
Here's how:
If the rental income is still missing, I suggest reviewing the customer transaction to ensure it's posted or recorded under the correct account. You can update it when necessary.
On the other hand, I'm adding this helpful material to find out why your income and expenses went missing from your report: Why are my income and expense transactions missing from my Profit and Loss report?.
Additionally, you can get more hints while running your reports in our system from this article: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
