Why does a paid amount still show as an open balance on a customer account

the bank payment has been allocated to the correct customer and the overall balance shows as nil but there is still an open balance

Can you please try clearing your cache and cookies to all time, close the browser down, reload it and see if it is still showing the same thing or not for you.
