Can you advise what is wrong with Standard Payroll this month? I am unable to run "Next Payroll" since the beginning of the new tax year. There is no "Let's Go"button.

Can you advise what is wrong with Standard Payroll this month? I am unable to run "Next Payroll" since the beginning of the new tax year. There is no "Let's Go"button.

This is currently an emerging issue we are aware of and our engineering team is investigating this behavior.


At this time, there isn’t a specific time frame as to when this issue will be fixed. However, you can stay updated by contacting support and asking one of our agents to add you to our notification list. We'll email you once more information becomes available. You can refer to this investigation number: INV-44503.

Hi MirriamM, thank you for your explanation.  However, looking through the community, this issue has been running for the best part of 2 weeks now.  It seems a lot of customers are affected and we are all desperate to pay employees, especially as many are furloughed and we need to claim on the UK Governments online facility, available on Monday 20th.  People in lockdown need to be paid!  

Two weeks is far too long for us to be told "this is an emerging issue and our engineers are aware".  Can we not find out how wide this problem is spread and how complex it is to resolve.  More especially, what priority the engineers are putting on the problem.

This is most frustrating and real peoples lives are being affected.

Please note that our goal here is to help save time and keep things simple for our users when doing a task in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
