We need to make first sure that we have selected the correct accounts for payroll related transactions. That way, we can easily locate and track them. Simply go to the Gear icon, select Account and Settings then, select Payroll.

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to see if this is just because of a browser issue. First, open and log in using an incognito window. From there, check your accounts and review your payroll transactions.
You'll want to clear the browser's cache. This is a junk file that can cause errors in QuickBooks Online. Also, make sure your browser is updated or use a different one.

Hi Alex. Thanks for answering.
I have tried all the steps you have suggested. I have cleared the cache. I have opened quickbooks online in an incognito window. I have checked account settings. They were all in order. I have checked my chart of accounts. I have deleted the payroll, and re-run, and still no journal entries have been made.
What do you suggest next?

At this point, I suggest getting a hold of our Technical Support team for further assistance. They can pull up your account within a secure environment. They also have the necessary tools to investigate as to why the payroll journal aren't being generated.
