It's nice to see you in the Community space, mark190.

You can choose the Shared Prenatal Pay options within Paysuite by following these steps:

  1. Tap on Employee
  2. Choose Absences
  3. Select Shared Prenatal Pay

However, if you’re still unable to pick Shared Prenatal Pay, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team for further assistance. They have more tools to check the issue further and walk you through more troubleshooting steps. Here’s how to get in touch with them:

Here's how to contact support:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Tap Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.

Take a look at this article to know more about Paysuite: Upgrading from PaySuite - FAQ.

If there's anything I can help you when running payroll, feel free to go back to this thread. I'm always here to offer additional assistance. Have a wonderful day ahead.

I just spoke to a QBO representative on the live chat and they informed me that QBO doesn't provide Statutory Shared Parental Pay (ShPP) as an option on payroll. Only paternity pay. That affects my business and any business whose employees want to claim ShPP and split the early-parenting duties more evenly.

Hi Joe, thanks for joining this thread - it's correct that this feature is not currently supported in either version of our QuickBooks Online Payroll. We appreciate this feature may be necessary for some of our customers, and we'll be sure to pass feedback onto our developers for this.
