I have an employee that works with me on a casual basis. How do I enter this employee in QBO?

Hi AQCReno, are you using QuickBooks Standard or QuickBooks Advanced payroll? Casual workers can be entered as standard employees, with the option for irregular payments selected in their settings. :)

Thank you for your reply! I am using Quickbooks Plus with Quickbooks payroll... I am unable to find the irregular payments setting in the profile.. Can you direct me by chance?

Hello AQCReno, so in advanced payroll if you go to payroll> Employees> click on the employees name> click on pay run defaults> under section where says standard work week you will see a little square box to tick that says employee is paid irregularly> tick that box then click save and close
