Hi sam30,
You will need to raise the request to the client by signing into your QuickBooks Accountant firm and then selecting the 'Work' tab.
From here, select 'Create client request' - this will open a panel on the right-hand side of the screen to select the client and enter details of the request. Once saved, this will be viewable on the 'My Accountant' tab on the clients account.
Thanks
Hello sam30,
Welcome to the Community page,
What are you trying to do?
What are you trying to request?
Could you please provide us with more information so we can help you. Thanks
Hi there
I thought I was able to use the accountant request to ask the client a question. In this case there is an item on the bank account which I do not know what it's for, the client is in meetings all day, so I thought I could make a request for this information in quickbooks rather than sending an email externally, which the client will see when logging in and be able to answer me. Have I got the wrong idea of the accountant request? Thanks
Hello Sam30,
Thanks for clarifying that,
Yes, you can send a request to your client though work to get them to check something for you then this will show on there my accountant tab.
How do I do it exactly? I can see a button to click 'create' as mentioned in the help guide...

Perfect! Thank you so much. I was looking in the wrong place!
