Export QB Desktop (Windows) Payroll Data to QB online

When moving your data to the online version of QuickBooks, there are transactions that don't come over such as the Social Insurance numbers, National Insurance numbers, and etc.

You'll need to manually enter the payroll details for your records to be complete. To help get started with using the Payroll feature, you can click on the topic found in this link. Employees & payroll.

Wow. So all the information held electronically in QB Desktop payroll has to be printed out and someone has to go through this, employee by employee, and manually type it in to QB online?

What is the rationale for such a crazy approach? It's like changing ledgers used to be 20 years ago!!

1. Go to the Gear icon in the upper right.
2. Choose Feedback.
3. Enter your request/product suggestion, and click on Next.
4. Click on Skip and send message.
5. Select Feedback as the Category.
