How do we download previous payslips in Core Payroll?

Hello, @oana-neutrontaxa.

You can access and download the previous employees' pay slips in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Core Payroll on the Payroll payment list page. I'd be glad to help you on how.

The payroll payment list page will show all the pay slips you have generated for each employee when you ran your previous payrolls. You can follow these steps to download the previous pay slips:

  1. Go to Payroll.
  2. Select Employees.
  3. Click Payroll payment list.
  4. Tick Filter and enter the desired pay slip date to download.
  5. Click Apply to save changes.
  6.

Moreover, to learn more about QBO Payroll, feel free to check this article: QuickBooks Online Core Payroll | Resource Hub.

If you have any further questions about exporting the previous pay slip, don't hesitate to let us know.

Thank you so much for your answer, but nothing comes up when I filter previous periods.

How do we download previous payslips in Core Payroll?

I appreciate the efforts you've taken in following the steps my colleague has provided. Since you're unable to pull up your previous payslips when filtering, we can troubleshoot this to help resolve this matter, oana.

One of the reasons you're unable to view your previous payslip is that you haven't run a payroll. If you've done this, let's open your account in incognito mode to determine if this is a browser-caused issue.

Sometimes, our webpage gets overloaded and causes issues while working on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company. This can be the reason why you can't pull up those data.

An incognito mode won't save your browsing activity, cache and cookies, or site data. To use one, here are the keyboard shortcuts you can follow:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P
  • Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

Once there, please open your account and check if you can view your prior payslips. If you've successfully viewed using a private browser, please clear your browser's cache for a fresh start. Also, I suggest using an updated and supported browser so you can utilize QBO to its full potential.

On the other hand, if you're still unable to find your prior payslips, I suggest contacting our customer care team so they can thoroughly examine the root cause of this matter. They have the tools and expertise that can look into this further.

Additionally, to add other pay types to your QBO Payroll Core, you can read this article for guidance: Managing holiday, bonus, and other pay types in QuickBooks Online Core Payroll.

Keep me posted if you encounter issues while working on your payslips in QBO. I'll be sure to help you out anytime.
