Will Quickbooks be introducing a deactivate option for outdated pay schedules since deleting is impossible?

Presently we cannot delete a pay schedule and surely a deactivate option can be introduced if deleting is such a major problem? I have a weekly payroll that I no longer use but I'm having to run a blank payroll every week or I can't move correctly into the new pay year in April. This is clearly exhausting and unnecessary. Come on Quickbooks, I know that you consistently make new developments and tweak your program to make it better, so please add pay schedules to your list because I believe this needs to be addressed ASAP!

Hi Kimalla, thanks for joining the Community - presently it's not possible to delete a pay schedule that has been ran for one or more pay periods. We can certainly see how this can become an inconvenience and we'll pass feedback to our team to explore options to remove this.

I have the same problem, and have to run blank payrolls every week, you've had over 18 months to include a delete / off switch, we can't be the only ones

Hi JGA1,

Thank you for dropping by and sharing the challenge you're also having with your outdated pay scedules.

As GeorgiaC said, this will be a great opportunity to be added as a feature so that you won't have to go over for 18 months for an option to delete transactions.
