Suddenly I cant connect to HMRC MTD.
I have checked all the settings in QB and all appears to be correct.
I have been submitting vat using MTD for a year or two so this doesn't make any sense.
Anyone else have this problem?

Have you logged into your gateway to see if you need to do the 18 month reauthorization, HMRC did have issues this morning as well which could of affected it as well.
I am having exactly the same issue - been filing for over 2 years and now won't connect. Following the guidelines I have disconnected our HMRC account and then reconnected but it still isn't working. Period dates and VAT Reg No are correct. What should I do next?
Hi Amanda, thanks for joining this thread - do you receive any specific prompt when selecting the 'take action' button on your VAT dashboard in QuickBooks? Please also check that you're able to log into your VAT account with HMRC using the same credentials entered in QB (QB will accept both PAYE and VAT details here, but only VAT details will connect to the MTD account).

I have also logged on to the account on the HMRC site but I cannot progress with filing because it recognises that we now file digitally and you can't do both.
Hello Amanda Peberdy, If we could ask you to try in a private browsing window just incase it is a browser issue. If that does not fix the error, if you could then go through our MTD error guide and follow the steps provided.
If you are still unable to connect after going through the article let us know and we'll take a look at what is happening and work to get this resolved for you.
