I use Quickbooks Self-Employed and am based in the UK. I want to change the work info on my invoices. This shows us how to set up the work info, but how do you then change it?
I have android and web browser access.
It's nice to see you here in the Community, @jamiehale.
I'd be glad to route you so you can change your work info in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
You can change the work info in your invoices by selecting Edit work info above the invoice details. Here's how:
For reference, check below for screenshots:
In case you're unable to find the edit work info option. I suggest performing some troubleshooting steps. To start, log in to your account using a private browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:
If it works, please switch back to your regular browser and clear its cache & historical data. This process helps restore the default setup of the browser. However, private browsing doesn't work, use another supported web engine to get the best and most secure experience with the program.
I'll also add this article to guide you in categorizing the transactions you downloaded from your bank: Categorize transactions.

I'm also trying to change my work details on Quickbooks Self-Employed - logo, business name and email address. I can find the 'edit work info' section but when I edit the information it won't let me save the changes, the save button is greyed out - see attached.
Hi there, Laura.
Thank you for sharing the details, especially the screenshot. It helps me understand your situation when updating the work info details in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
We've been getting reports from other users experiencing difficulties uploading or saving a logo on the Edit work info page. They've encountered the error message "We couldn't save your information. Please try again. Invalid phone number." I'd like to confirm if you've encountered this error as well. This way they can add you to the list of affected users. If not, I still recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They have the necessary tools to investigate this further and identify the root cause of the issue.
You can reach out to them by going to the Help menu and clicking Contact us. Then, select QuickBooks Self-Employed as your product. Our live support is available Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday/Sunday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
If you're interested in managing your invoices through your mobile app, you can find a guide on how to do so in this article: Create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Feel free to visit the Community if there's anything else you need help with in managing your invoices, Laura. We're here to lend a hand.
Thanks for your reply. I'm not getting that error message as I can't press the save button as it's grayed out and not clickable.
Thanks for getting back to us here, Laura
We'd like to make sure that we're able to get to the bottom of the problem.
To check for any cache issue that may be causing this, please try clearing the cache + Intuit specific cookies on your browser or try signing into QBSE through a different browser (such as Chrome or MS Edge).
QuickBooks uses the browsers cache and cookies to run faster, but sometimes these can also stop pages from working as expected.
Additionally, to isolate any issues with the logo, please see if you can save the updates to business name and email address on the Work info tab.
Thanks again for visiting the Community. We'll be on the lookout for your reply!
