We have two options available that you can do to start over with a new client account.
- Wipe the data from your client's QuickBooks Online file and start with new company data.
- Cancel your client's account, and start a new subscription.
If your client's account is active within 90 days, you can follow the steps below to purge the company file. Note: This process will delete all the data that has been entered in their company. If they're using QuickBooks Online Simple Start, you'll have to cancel the subscription and start a new one.
- Log in onto your QuickBooks Online company.
- Change the URL and include /purgecompany. For example, the URL shows https://qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage, you can change it to: https://ca.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
- On the next screen, you'll see the summary of all items to be deleted.
- Type Yes to proceed with the deletion, and then click OK.
- Choose Wipe Data once your selections are complete.
