Does the 1 year read only access include the ability to download things like profit-loss accounts and balance sheets?

Hi JB Hydro LLP, yes, you can continue to use the export functions to download data after deactivating the account :)

I have tried the steps indicated but it only allows 

transfer billing to myself. 

How do I close the whole of quickbooks down?

I've asked previously to the person who was dealing with QB issues but they haven't still got back. 

Please CLOSE the whole of Quickbooks.

Hi, KC2003. I can guide you on how to close your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

I appreciate you for following the steps provided to close QuickBooks. I want you to know that cancelling your account won't transfer the billing details to any person or your name. When you cancel QuickBooks, we hang on to your data for one year before deleting it. This way, you can pick up where you left off if you want to reactivate or export your data to Excel for future use. 

To cancel or close your QBO account:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
2. Go to the Gear icon, then click on Accounts and Settings.
3. Click on the Billing & Subscription tab.
4. Select your subscription, then tap on Cancel or Cancel subscription.
5. Follow the onscreen pop-ups to complete the process.

That below doesn't work I've already written that I've followed the steps. As usual QB is Sh*t and I want out. 

I will NEVER as long as I live go back to QB's. I just want my details taken down....

Hi KC2003, if you're unable to cancel following the steps provided, please call our cancellations team on 0808 168 4280 for support. Please note, if your account is billed by a QuickBooks Online Accountant account, the transfer billing to client option is the correct step for an accountant user to take to suspend the license and cancel the account.
