HMRC Payroll

QBs is stating that my FPS submissions have been successful - I have just started using QB payroll online wef new UK tax year.

I have received no notifications through from HMRC that they have been receiving my submissions though and it does not appear QBs have yet charged me for using payroll

How can I check this is working on QBs?

Hi there, sashalankshear.

You can check your FPS filing to see if it was rejected or it was successfully filed. To do this, you can go to Taxes and choose Payroll Tax.

If the FPS submission was successful, it will show under Filed Forms. If not, it will show up under Due now and will show as Overdue.

Please check this article for more details: View submitted FPS and EPS filings in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Thanks.

All submissions to date show as "Accepted" on Quickbooks and it all says I'm up to date - assuming that it's all fine then?
Just want to be sure because of changing over payroll software.

Suppose the only other thing I will have to do to be 100% sure is contact HMRC and go through the painful route of asking they confirm receipt of those submissions....! Joy!

Hello

If the submissions show as accepted then they will be filed through your government gateway log in as it is a live connection and would have a record if they had been rejected .Certainly if you wanted to contact HMRC an double check you can do this to confirm the receipt of those submissions.Good luck with that:)

Any questions let us know

Thanks

Emma
