Dear All,
I am a Quickbooks Enterprise USA user subscriber and wishes to transfer to Quickbooks UK. Due to lack of info in the internet, I would like to raise the following questions for those who have experience on this:
1. What is the major difference between Quickbooks Premier and Quickbooks Enterprise in terms of functionality (I am currently running a test on this)
2. Anyone has tried to open a US file to UK Quickbooks version? If so, would appreciate sharing how it was made.
3. Aside from being subscribed to Quickbooks Enterprise US, I am also subscribed to Quickbooks Online Plus, which I can say has a very limited functionality - Is there any additional online platform UK has?
Thank you.

Should you have more than 5 users working on the same file or need the multi-warehouse feature, Enterprise edition is your option. Send your email address in a private message. I will send you the comparison between QB Desktop edition.
2. Anyone has tried to open a US file to UK Quickbooks version? If so, would appreciate sharing how it was made. You have to purchase a 3rd party conversion service

QBO Advanced is only available for US version. Consider having a 3rd party app as workaround to seperate users.
Thank you.
Hi @Ecoboy101,
Please see the answers below:
1. What is the major difference between Quickbooks Premier and Quickbooks Enterprise in terms of functionality (I am currently running a test on this)
The most important differences are the number of list items and number of users. Quickbooks Enterprise supports unlimited list items and 30 users while Premier has a limit of 10,500 items in a single list and 5 users.
2. Anyone has tried to open a US file to UK Quickbooks version? If so, would appreciate sharing how it was made.
A conversion service provider can convert a US file to Quickbooks UK. PM me if you need a recommendation.
3. Aside from being subscribed to Quickbooks Enterprise US, I am also subscribed to Quickbooks Online Plus, which I can say has a very limited functionality - Is there any additional online platform UK has?
Do you have a UK business or a US business? We will answer based on where your business is domiciled.
I've got the same problem. I've got a quickbooks desktop us version. And I've signed up to quickbooks online UK. Does anyone know any apps that can help this conversion? I've only been putting in sales and expenses transactions nothing else no vat or payroll etc so its very minimal. All of my transactions on the desktop us version is all in £ nothing American. Hope this helps.
Hi there, Vegishake.
Let me share some insights into converting your account to QuickBooks Online.
You have to look for a converter from a third party application that will help you with the conversion.
I've got an article about import limitation for you to get a list of what's not converted in QBO: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Also, I'll be leaving you with also a useful guide to help you through the whole process of moving your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.
If there’s anything else I can do for you concerning your QuickBooks Desktop account, don’t hesitate to reach out again. I’d be glad to help. Take care!
You may have 2 ways:
1. Utilize a migration tool. i.e TPExporter for Desktop, TPImporter for Online

2. Purchase a 3rd party conversion service.
