How do I file a complaint about Quickbooks Online Payroll?

We are a new operating company (August 2020), and now have over 52 employees (Oct 2020). We run payroll via Direct Deposit, however QB has us locked at a $40,000 limit. Our net payroll (bi-weekly) is $65,000, meaning we have to write over 15 EXTRA cheques above our DD pays. This is extremely cumbersome with two cheque signers, and we are expecting to grow above 75 employees by Q2 2021. Our bi-weekly payroll will be pushing $90,000 at this point.

 

The point of my complaint is this - we have continuously applied, spoken to advisors, escalated this issue - with NO resolution whatsoever. We have been passed around between people who have no idea what our issue is, and been told by the automated system we are declined for an increase to $65,000. The staff will get paid no matter what. Whether we pay them in cash, cheque, DD, pennies, etc - they are getting their payroll. Why is QB governing the amount we can send them via Direct Deposit? Our bank can worry whether we have the funds. There is absolutely no reason why we should not be able to DD whatever value we would like. This is not only brutal structuring of this interface, but the customer service to "assist" is even worse. 

 

If I could start over - I would choose an entire new accounting and payroll software and remove QB entirely from the equation. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to go back and reconcile with a new platform, so we are stuck with QB Online. 

 

1/10 - would not recommend to anyone.

It's great to know that your business is growing. For your security, there'll be limits on how much money you can send via direct deposit.

 

I understand that you need to need to increase your direct deposit limit and you already reached out to our support team. Only our Payroll Specialists can send a request to increase the limit.

QB Product is great its just too bad their customer service is garbage! I have been waiting for 15 days for a simple migration. The data centre says it was going to be done in 2 hours and it will be in my QB online. Its been days since that last conversation and no data in the QB online that I prchased which is causing delays in my work. I have been calling and THEY REFUSED TO PUT ME TO A SUPERVISOR. THEY SAID THEY CANNOT HELP ME. Instead they keep directing me to a telephone number that I need to call which I have but it goes back in circles...or an email....NO CALL BACK< NO EMAIL REPLIES< NO FOLLOW UP....For a product this good, their customer service is garbage.

Correct, QB customer service is horrible.  Just was on a chat for 45 min.  The guy would respond 10 minutes after I would type.  He ask for account manger which is me and then replied that is not correct and disconnected the chat!!  Absolutely pathetic!  1 hour later and still issue is not fixed.

Every day I am tortured by Quickbooks. Of the thousands of companies I have done business with, QB is the absolute worst. I'm only here because I'm trapped.  

 

Be proud Quickbooks, you are the best ever (sic). The best at being the worst ever.
